Station Info:
Kenwood TS850Sat, G5RV at ~30ft (hidden in
trees), homebuilt 3Ghz P4 PC running MixW for
logging.
The PC is set up
for RTTY/PSK/SSTV, but not CW |

Notes/Areas-Worked
The FLQP (CW) was a learning
experience. I was an avid CW op for years, but had
gotten lazy with RTTY/PSK31. I'd gotten used to
logging RTTY contests with mixW, and was comfortable with it
- but transitioning from writing callsigns on a scratch pad
and typing was a real slow-down at first. After the
first 40 or so contacts I was getting the knack for it.
Putting everything together (sending CW in a "contest mode",
typing in callsigns & info, etc) was a big hurdle, but fun.
I managed 161 QSOs, yielding a claimed score of 22540.
